Mr. V. Prabhakar Reddy, an astute businessman with an impeccable foresight, started his business operations as a small contracting firm executing earth working projects in the 1990s. He sensed an opportunity in the mining sector and quickly evolved the organisation, focussing his attention and resources to become an efficient Open cast OB removal contractor.
The company reaped significant success under his able leadership and vision and secured a number of large OB and coal removal contracts from Coal India Limited (CIL) and Singareni Collieries in the coming years and grew substantially to become the leading OB removal contractor of the country. Eventually In 2008, from a proprietary enterprise, VPR Mining Infrastructure Private Limited (VPRMIPL) was formed and the company expanded its geographical presence.
